ACTIVITY Nº1:
1.1. Look for information about the main industries in your community. Write a short report about what is produced and how technology is used for.
Mazapan: Mazapan´s industry is one of the most important industry of Toledo. The best example is Santo Tomé which is in a lot of places of the city. It works the mazapan becarefully and makes different figures with it.
Ceramic industry: It is characteristic from Talavera de la Reina, a village that belongs to Toledo. The people work with clay. They give different shapes to the clay and creates vases, dishes, jars, etc. At first they do the shapes by hand but now is usual to give the shapes with machines and molds.
1.2. Find out and write down the environmental problems that can come from those processes.

3.4. Copy and complete these sentences about health and safety.
